Netflix will tame Escobar's hippos
Netflix will return to the crazy world of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. The distributor of the brilliant crime drama Barygi is preparing the comedy Cocaine Behemoths.The plot application of the picture is based on real events. It's no secret that Escobar spent a lot of money on the construction of a family castle and a personal zoo. In the early 80s, he ordered several hippos from Africa. After the death of the criminal, the menagerie went under the hammer. Only hippos remained in the wild, hiding from the Colombian authorities in the impassable jungle. The script by Jordan VanDina ("Supermansion") tells the story of old friends who heard the tale of Escobar's lost treasure. Friends travel to Colombia and embark on an exciting adventure involving petty crooks, powerful drug dealers and, of course, feral hippos ...  According to preliminary information, we are waiting for a bizarre mix of "Bachelor Party in Vegas" and "Soldier of Fortune". The main role in the film will be played by Germaine Fowler. The name of the comedian is still unknown to the general public, but everything may change after the release of the long-awaited sequel to "A Trip to America".
