Bambi will come to life on the big screens
The Disney remake machine does not even think to stop, and only last year presented the mega-successful "Aladdin" and "The Lion King" to moviegoers. Another popular animated hero is ready to follow Simba's path: Disney has announced the start of work on a game remake of the Bambi movie.According to insiders, the studio is aware that the story of the deer is much less ambitious than the legend of Simba, but this did not prevent the major from inviting the in-demand authors of modern cinema to the project. Geneva Robertson-Duoret (Tomb Raider: Lara Croft, Captain Marvel) and Lindsay Bear (Sierra Burgess is a Loser) have been selected as the screenwriters for the new Bambi. It is not yet known how much the plot of the remake will differ from the original, but the animated version of "Bambi", released in 1942 and nominated for three Oscars, told about the growing up of a little deer and his forest friends. Apparently, the approach to the project will remain the same as in the case of The Jungle Book and The Lion King, and with the help of computer technology, the House of Mouse will recreate the heroes of the story in the most realistic way.  The director for the film has not yet been found, but do not be surprised if the first to whom Disney offers this place will be Jon Favreau - it was he who led The Jungle Book and The Lion King to success at the box office. Bambi's only problem may lie in its relatively low popularity among modern audiences, while Dumbo has already stepped on this rake, becoming one of the studio's disappointments in the remakes arena.
