Isabela Moner will make Jason Momoa an avenger
The star of the recently released family film Dora and the Lost City, Isabela Moner, will play the daughter of Jason Momoa in the crime drama Sweet Girl. Shooting will be headed by cameraman and producer Brian Mendoza, who knows Momoa from The Wild, and for him this project will be his debut in directing.The plot of the action sounds painfully familiar: a devastated and lost man after the death of his wife is obsessed with a thirst for revenge and restoration of justice. And his only motive on this path is to protect his young daughter from the encroachments of vile villains. The screenplay was written by Gregg Hurwitz, Philip Eisner and Will Staples. Moner, who recently changed her last name to Merced, is best known as the star of Nickelodeon.
