Nicholas Hoult vs. Ethan Hunt
Last year was not very successful for Nicholas Hoult: the audience did not rush to watch "Tolkien", nobody liked "Dark Phoenix", and "War of currents" went unnoticed. On top of that, Holt lost to Robert Pattinson for the role of Batman. Some interesting project could sweeten the pill, and the actor just found something similar: he will play in the new film of the Mission: Impossible franchise.Director Christopher McQuarrie shared some good news with moviegoers on social networks. The filmmaker jokingly suggested to Holt a little heat, so that Nicholas will most likely arrange hell on earth for Ethan Hunt as the villain of the seventh part. Other details of the role, as well as details of the plot, are kept secret. Franchise veterans Tom Cruise and Rebecca Ferguson are joined by newcomers Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff and Shay Wiigham. Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg are also expected to return to their roles.  The shooting of the seventh and eighth parts will take place one after another, but it is still unclear if the plots of the sequels are related. Atwell and Clementieff are set to appear in two films, but Holt is not so certain. The premiere of the seventh "Mission" will take place on July 22, 2021, and the eighth in 2022.
