Mattson Tomlin decided to showcase his vision of a future in which machines will rebel against humanity in the new sci-fi thriller Mother / Android.The plot is centered around a girl named Georgia, played by Chloe Moretz, and her boyfriend Sam. Georgia is in its last month of pregnancy when a war against artificial intelligence breaks out in the country. The heroes have to go on a dangerous journey so that the girl can give birth to a child away from the horrors of death. However, before reaching a safe place, Georgia and Sam will have to go through the lands abandoned by people, which became the center of the android uprising.  Scriptwriter and director Tomlin said that the plot is based in part on the story of his parents - young couple who had to save their child during the Romanian Revolution:"" Mother / Android "; Is a very personal project inspired by the sacrifices my parents had to make in order for me to be born. This is a story about humanity that does not fade away even in the darkest times ". For Tomlin, who previously worked on Netflix's superhero fantasy project Power Project, the tape will be the director's debut.
