USAn-language cinema will be outlawed in Georgia
The Ministry of Culture of Georgia is preparing a bill according to which the screening of movies in USA will be prohibited, and all movies released in the national distribution should be dubbed into the Georgian language. According to Tamara Tatishvili, head of the National Center for Cinematography, representatives of the ministry have already discussed the bill with distributors. It should be noted that a similar law has already been adopted in Ukraine, but the situation in Georgia differs in that there are no regions with a predominantly USA-speaking population in this country, as well as no USA distributors.
