Dracula's Brides are heading for TV
The beginning of 2020 was marked by the premiere of the horror Dracula. The success of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) miniseries has not gone unnoticed in the United States. As it became known to our foreign colleagues, the American ABC channel is preparing its own TV project about the legendary vampire.The ABC management has bought the rights to the script for the drama serial "The Bride". In the center of the plot will be three charming concubines of the Transylvanian count, first mentioned in 1897 in Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula". The idea of "Brides" was invented by the author of "Riverdale" and "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina", Roberto Aguirre-Sacas. Initially, the series was developed for the NBC channel, but in the end, Roberto's team had to rework the script and look for a new partner. Several well-known TV networks and popular online services participated in the struggle for the updated project.  It is expected that the action of the novelty will unfold in our days. Dracula will become an active participant in the events, but the main focus will be on the brides. The pilot will be directed by Maggie Keely (American Horror Story).
