Batman will have a TV spin-off
Director Matt Reeves' upcoming solo movie "Batman" has a TV spin-off focusing on the Gotham Police Department. Moreover, according to Comic Book, the new full-length comic book adaptation "will kick off a new multiplatform universe that will not be tied to previous movies." The TV series will be presented to viewers via the HBO Max streaming service. The start date of movieing and a possible release schedule have not yet been specified. Recall that Colin Farrell, Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Andy Serkis, Peter Sarsgaard, Jeffrey Wright were planning to take part in the movie "Batman" John Turturro and other actors. Filming was supposed to start in London in early spring 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic has made adjustments to these plans. Filming was expected to resume in the second half of the summer, when the British authorities eased a number of restrictions.
