Mortal Kombat joins the ranks
The number of people wishing to take part in the new "Mortal Kombat" is growing every day. Just a couple of weeks ago, we announced four newcomers to the cast of the film adaptation, and now three more are ready to join them: Jessica McNamie, Josh Lawson and Lewis Tan are negotiating to participate in the filming.McNamy and Lawson will play iconic characters from the Mortal Kombat universe, but there is no information about the role of Tan. So, McNamy, known to viewers from the films "Battle of the Sexes" and "Meg: Monster of the Depths", will embody the image of Sonya Blade - a special forces officer of the US Army, and later the founder of the Agency for Outworld Research. In most of the games in the franchise, Sony's main goal was to hunt down a thug and mercenary named Kano. Josh Lawson ("Abode of Lies") will play the role of Kano. The character is a member of the Black Dragon international criminal organization and features a cybernetic faceplate with an infrared eye. Well, the third newcomer to "Mortal Kombat", Lewis Tan, became known to the general public thanks to the series "In the Desert of Death", after which he received an invitation to shoot the second "Deadpool" and "Assassins Wu". Tan is a master of martial arts, and these skills will surely come in handy on the site of Mortal Kombat.
