The deal of the century between Disney and Fox has garnered so much attention that foreign news outlets have barely covered negotiations over the merger of the other two film and television moguls. Two years ago, CBS All Access released the first season of Star Trek: Discovery. The travel story of the starship USS Discovery has been well received in the press and has earned several valuable awards, including an Emmy. Next year, viewers will see the premiere of the third season of "Discovery" and the series about Captain Picard performed by Patrick Stewart.
