The Marvel Universe Awaits Mysterious Events Star
The annual Comic-Con Popular Culture Festival kicks off in San Diego mid-next week. In this regard, curious rumors began to appear on the Web about the upcoming presentation of new projects by Marvel Studio.The return of Marvel to the legendary Hall H promises to be almost the main decoration of Comic-Con 2019. As a reminder, the company skipped the festival last year to keep the intrigue around the final Phase III films. Over the past couple of days, the studio has announced several interesting panels at once. Viewers will meet with comic book writers, the cast of Agents of SHIELD, Avengers: Endgame blockbuster writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and directors Joe and Anthony Russo. The cherry on the cake will be a performance by MCU curator Kevin Feige. Rumor has it that the studio will go all-in and have a massive Phase IV presentation. However, it is worth remembering that in August Marvel will have another high-profile event - the D23 exhibition in Anaheim. It is possible that Feige will prefer to dose information about the next stage in the development of the superhero franchise. In this case, visitors to Comic-Con will almost certainly learn the secrets of a couple of Phase 4 opening films, after which Marvel will take a short break and continue the story of the rest of the film projects already on D23.  One of the first films of the Fourth Phase will be the blockbuster "The Eternals." The filmmakers are expected to complete casting for the lead roles in time for Comic-Con. It would be logical for Marvel to immediately introduce the public to the franchise's new recruits. According to rumors, Feige has already booked a plane for the film's main stars. To date, Richard Madden, Ma Dong-sok and Kumail Nanjiani have signed contracts with Marvel, while Angelina Jolie, Keanu Reeves and Salma Hayek are still in negotiations. Information appeared on the Web today that Millie Bobby Brown ("Mysterious Events") has also joined this stellar group. The young actress began to be wooed into the movie comics in the spring. During the promotional campaign for the third season of Mysterious Events, she several times denied rumors of negotiations with Marvel, but today the authoritative foreign publication Variety wrote about her participation in the creation of The Eternals as a fait accompli.  Representatives of the actress and studio Marvel have so far refrained from comment. It is possible that movie fans will have to wait until the start of Comic-Con to hear confirmation or refutation of this information from the lips of Kevin Feige himself.
