Sauces and McGee will do the housework

Image Bluff City Law star Caitlin McGee will be filming a pilot for ABC's new Home Economics project with Topher Grace (Spider-Man 3: The Enemy Reflected). The cast also includes Carla Sousa, who plays Laurel Castillo in How To Avoid Punishment for Murder, and Saturday Night Live star Sashir Zamata.

Household is a family comedy television series from the creators of The Penguins of Madagascar, Michael Colton and John Ebaud. Based on Colton's memoir, an American Family-inspired show will explore the lives of three relatives, each in a different financial situation.

McGee will play Sarah, the eldest of the family-tied heroes. She is married to a teacher and works with troubled teenagers. The couple can barely make ends meet, but Sarah considers working with children an important and socially significant activity. The heroine of Carla Sousa is Marina, a proud first-generation New Yorker: her parents came to the States from Latin America. Marina worked as a lawyer, but now she sits at home and takes care of children, although she is not very happy about this prospect. Zamata on the screen will reincarnate as Sarah's wife - a patient teacher in a public school who, despite all the difficulties in life, remains optimistic.
