Gremlins will follow in the footsteps of Jurassic World
Last May, Warner Bros. announced a desire to give new life to Joe Dante's cult horror comedy Gremlins . The last time the project was heard this spring, when the screenwriter of the original film Chris Columbus admitted that he would be ready to take part in the work on the new part of the film series in the event that the studio bosses can bring a touch of nostalgia to it.As reported by Comicbook , at a fan meeting in London, the star of the original Zach Galligan dilogy shared some interesting plot details for the new Gremlins . "This film will not be a rework of the original," said the actor. -Like Back to the Future trilogy creator Robert Zemeckis, Chris Columbus made it clear that there will be no remake of his brainchild while he is alive. The studio has no choice but to take an example from "Jurassic World" and make the action of the new part of " Gremlins " unfold a few decades after the events of the original.  I don't know how Chris feels about New Squad, because the sequel was being worked on without his participation, but the writers will probably want to mention the incident from the first part. I think we should also expect some characters from the original film to appear on screen. I hope I have a good chance to return to the image of Billy Peltzer , because not so many heroes survived until the end of the 1984 film. ”  Carl Ellsworth is currently working on the script for the film.
