Lethal Weapon Goes to TV
As it became known to the information portal The Hollywood Reporter , another cult film is going to small screens - the channel Fox has begun work on a television remake of the film Lethal Weapon >".Matthew Miller ("Forever" / Forever ) is working on the script for the future series. He will also act as executive producer in the company with Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz. Like the original film starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, the new drama follows the Texas police officer Martin Riggs who travels to Los Angeles after the death of his wife and child to start life again. Here he gets a partner in the local police detective Roger Murtaf , who recently suffered a heart attack and therefore has to avoid any stressful situations.  Over the past few years, there have been many rumors that the Lethal Weapon franchise, with a total of four films, will receive both a sequel to the big screens and a remake on television.
