Warner Bros. will continue the story of Lex Luthor and Lois Lane
DC and Warner Bros. Television has announced a series titled "Metropolis" with Lois Lane and Lex Luthor as the main characters. This is reported by The Wrap. The contents of the project are still kept secret, it is only known that Lane and Luthor "will have to explore the world of science and and reveal the dark and bizarre secrets of Metropolis before the era of Superman." The series is expected to consist of 13 episodes. The first one will be directed by Danny Cannon, who has previously worked on TV projects such as Gotham and Training Day. The cast has not yet been confirmed at the time of this posting. Recall that Lois Lane and Lex Luthor appeared in the feature movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. These characters were played by Amy Adams and Jesse Eisenberg. Whether the actors will participate in the television prequel is unknown. The movie itself was crushed by critics and earned significantly less at the box office than the management of Warner Bros.
