Syfy takes on comics about a storm of vampires from the Wild West
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , the Syfy channel has taken on the creation of a television fantasy western about the adventures of Winona Earp , the heroine of the comic series Beau Smith. The showrunner of the new series will be Emily Andras (Killjoys / Killjoys ).In the center of the plot - the witty great-granddaughter of the famous guardian of the law and part-time gambler Wyatt Earp , who will have to administer justice, fighting against immortal demons, vampires, drug dealers, even with mummies from the Egyptian mafia and other supernatural scumbags ... And a team of unlucky allies will help her in this. The main character in the project will be played by Melanie Scrofano (RoboCop). We will also be able to see in the series Tim Roson ("Being human" / Being human ), who got the image of the swindler Doc Holliday , and Scheimer Anderson ("Unruly Earth" / Defiance ) will appear as the mysterious agent Dolls .  So far, 13 episodes are planned for the series, which will begin filming in August. On small screens, it should be released in April next year.
