Star Wars: Rogue Tribe
Following the news of the appointment of Colin Trevorrow as the director of the ninth episode of the space saga, Disney and Lucasfilm studios delighted fans of the franchise with information about the first film " Anthology" Star Wars " "-" Outcast ".The main characters of the upcoming blockbuster will be resistance fighters who will join forces to complete the mission to steal the plans of the first Death Star . According to Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, viewers will have a unique opportunity to see the galactic war through the eyes of ordinary rebels. The filming of the spin-off directed by director Gareth Edwards started today, so the official website of the saga hastened to publish the names of the members of the main cast. As expected, Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelssohn, Reese Ahmed and Forest Whitaker were cast in the film. Rumors about the participation in " Outcast " of martial arts master Donnie Yen, who will be accompanied on the screen by another star of Asian cinema - Jiang Wen ("Devils at the Door"), were also confirmed.  The casting list also brought some pleasant surprises. As it became known, the star of the cult series "Firefly" ( Firefly ) Alan Tudik, who will create the image of a CG character using motion capture technology, will take part in the creation of the picture. Until the last moment, the creators of the spin-off also concealed participation in Mads Mikkelsen's project ("The Hunt", "Casino Royale").  The team that has to be on the other side of the camera turned out to be no less impressive. The script for the film was written by legendary visual effects artist John Knoll, who will take over as producer with Allison Shirmour (Cinderella), Simon Emanuel (The Dark Knight Rises), Jason D. McGitlin (The Adventures of Tintin: A Mystery); Unicorn ") and Kathleen Kennedy . The Special Effects Supervisor will be Neil Corbould (Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down) and the film's score will be written by Oscar-winning Alexander Deplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel). Greig Fraser has been appointed operator of the project and has a track record of films such as Target One and The Fox Hunter.
