Undefeated footballers will conquer the big screens
The Tracking Board has exclusively learned that Temple Hill Entertainment has acquired the rights to create a full-length remake of the documentary The Undefeated . The new project is being produced by Vic Godfrey and Marty Bowen (Paper Towns).The original, released in 2012, is about an unlucky Memphis football team that has long been among the underdogs in the high school league. With the arrival of new coach Bill Courtney, the situation changed radically - for the first time in 110 years, that is, in the entire history of the school, athletes were ready to win a playoff match. The film was directed by Daniel Lindsay and T.J. Martin, but it is not yet known if they are ready to shoot an artistic version of their tape.  The Undefeated was distributed by The Weinstein Company , but the tape was able to earn only $ 584 thousand at the box office.
