WB will bring superhero duo to screens
As it became known to the journalists The Tracking Board , the studio Warner Bros. plans to expand the cinematic universe DC with a film about two popular comic book heroes - The Blue Beetleand Gold Booster .For several years, DC considered making TV series about these characters, but eventually decided to bring them to the big screen. WB bosses have recruited Zach Penn ("The Avengers") to write the story with a comedic twist and the spirit of cop films. Insiders note that in the comics Blue Beetle and Golden Accelerator were included in the Justice League, and therefore can become active participants in the two-part blockbuster of the same name by Zach Snyder. The film about the superhero duo will be directed by Greg Berlanti , who is actively involved in the construction of the DC television universe. The filmmaker has already made the series "Arrow" ( Arrow ) and "The Flash" ( The Flash ) a success, and in the coming months his team will present two new products to viewers - "Supergirl "( Supergirl ) and DC's Legends of Tomorrow .  Gold Accelerator first appeared in comic pages in 1986. This pseudonym was Michael John Carter from the XXV century. The gifted athlete showed himself brightly in American football, but was kicked out of the team in disgrace when it became known that he handed over matches to his rivals. Carter wanted to achieve fame, for which he robbed the museum of the future and went to our days. Using knowledge about upcoming events, he acquired the status of a celebrity, but one day fate made him become a real hero...  Curiously, just a month ago Nathan Fillion (Castle / Castle , Firefly / Firefly ) announced the Wizard World Comic Con Chicago that of all the comic book heroes he would most like to play Golden Booster . The name of the Blue Beetle in the DC world was worn by several heroes at once, the first of which was Dan Garrett . The film is expected to use the story of the ingenious inventor Ted Kord , whom comic book fans met in 1966. Together with Garrett , the scientist discovered that his uncle Jarvis is preparing to conquer the world with the help of an army of androids. During an attempt to foil the villain's plans, Dan was wounded, but before his death he managed to ask Ted to become the new Blue Beetle .
