Ace Ventura and the Exorcist may return to screens

Image Deadline has learned that Morgan Creek Productions is preparing to sell the rights to its impressive film collection.

According to insiders, the studio expects to include 78 films in the deal to use the proceeds from the sale of rights to fund its ongoing projects. One of them will be the biopic of rapper Tupac Shakur, which is due to start filming later this year.

The bosses of Morgan Creek will retain some of the rights to films such as Ace Ventura Pet Tracking, Major League, Young Gunslingers, Flying Tigers and The Exorcist. Chief Executive Officer James J. Robinson admitted that he is currently considering making remakes of all of these films.
