Screen Gems will shoot a new version of the horror movie Urban Legends
Screen Gems movie studio intends to shoot a new version of the popular in the past youth slasher called "Urban Legends". According to Deadline, the movie is directed by Colin Meynihan, creator of the low-budget horror movie What Keeps You Alive, which has been successfully screened at several festivals. In the original 1998 movie, the plot was built around a group of young people, facing a series of murders, each of which is an illustration of one of the terrifying urban legends. The movie stars Robert Englund, Brad Dourif, Julian Richings, Tara Reed, Jared Leto and other popular actors. The first part was a success, so several sequels were later movieed.
