And although the young singer's early experiments in mixing several genres were not successful, the views of critics and the public were already riveted on the young man who was not afraid to appear on stage in the form of a skinny alien Ziggy Stardust or an emaciated White Duke . The art freak with his whole appearance proved that he wanted to spit on boundaries and prohibitions, that there were no compromises and conventions for him, and on stage his powers became almost limitless.  Unsurprisingly, Bowie's Bowie has not bypassed the film industry, inclined to theatricalization of his performances, which the artist stuffed with intricate choreography and visual effects. Of course, David will go down in history primarily due to his revolutionary musical masterpieces, which in some years the prolific author released dozens of them. However, those who have seen Bowie on screen at least once will not dare say that this area of his activity was secondary.  It is very symbolic that the first full-fledged film work for David became a role in the movie "The Man Who Fell to Earth". By the way, for her in 1977 the actor received the " Saturn " award.
