Transformers will receive a sequel and a prequel
This spring, Paramount and Hasbro announced the start of construction for the MCU " Transformers " with the help of an impressive writing team led by Akiva Goldsman.According to Deadline , the owners of the franchise were pleased with the results of the work of the writers, each of whom received a check for seven figures. Within a few weeks, the authoring group managed to sketch out a plan for the development of the main film series, as well as suggest ideas for nine spin-offs. Five of them reportedly received Steven Spielberg's approval. Paramount and Hasbro are eligible to use these scenario applications for the next three years. Four films are currently in development. The first to go to work will be the fifth part of the main film series, in which Mark Wahlberg will return to the main role. Akiva Goldsman will be responsible for finalizing the script for "Transformers 5", and Michael Bay may return to the director's chair, who is currently in talks with Steven Spielberg . At the same time, insiders report that Paramount already has ideas for the sixth part.  The next MCU movie will be the animated prequel " Transformers ", which will take place on the planet Cybertron. The plot of the cartoon will be composed by Ant-Man authors Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. The studio bosses are also ready to implement script applications by Jeff Pinkner (Lost / Lost , Beyond the Boundary / Fringe ) and Lindsay Beer, but the details of these projects are still stored in secret.
