Bloody Countess Bathory will have her own TV series
According to the information portal Deadline , the channel CBS is ready to replenish its line of projects with another series - the television network is preparing a drama about the notorious Hungarian countess Elizabeth Bathory .The idea for the show belongs to David Eyck (Battlestar Galactica / Battlestar Galactica ) and Joel Silver (Air Marshal). They will act as executive producers for the series, while Eick will also be responsible for writing the script. It is believed that the Countess Bathory committed the largest number of murders in the history of mankind, although the exact number of her victims, and according to rough estimates, there were more than 600, is still unknown. Bathory tortured and killed young girls, and some historians even suggest that the Countess was addicted to vampirism and that she took baths with virgin blood to rejuvenate.
