It is curious that for both films the last weekend ( September 11-13 ) became the premiere, and the gap between the first and second positions is quite small.The first place at the box office went to the thriller " The Perfect Guy ", which started with a result of $ 26.7 million (the project budget was $ 12 million ). The main roles in the film were played by Sena Lathan, Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut. The plot of the film is quite simple: a successful girl meets a man who is perfect in every sense, who is ready to dance the night away, take her to restaurants and even buy tickets to her father for a match of his favorite football team. But it has long been proven that there are no ideal people ...  The creators of the picture tried to reproduce the atmosphere of erotic thrillers of the 90s, and many critics managed to draw parallels with the film Fatal Attraction. However, if the audience was literally captivated by the new work of David M. Rosenthal , the reviewers were not delighted with it. There are practically no complaints about the acting - Sena Lathan managed to perfectly convey all the emotions of her victim heroine, and Michael Ely is incredibly good in the image of a psychopath with an obsession to win a girl. However, the critics still have questions for the director - the film came out too chaotic, and the dramatic scenes and simple conversations turned out to be equally crumpled. But still the final word at the box office remains with the audience, and they liked Ideal Boyfriend .  The second place in the rating went to another newcomer of the week - horror M. Night Shyamalan “ Visit ”, which, like “Perfect Boyfriend” , exceeded all expectations. After the blockbuster "After our era" failed miserably at the box office, the director of "Sixth Sense" needed a win-win. And he found it in the form of "Visit" - a film made by Shyamalan for $ 5 million , lured viewers out of wallets on his first weekend $ 25.7 million . By the way, this result is the maximum amount that films in this genre collected in 2015 in their opening week.  A tape about two teenagers who went to visit their grandmother and found something there supernatural, evoked a variety of feelings in professional reviewers. The leader of last week, the religious drama " War Room ", has dropped to third position. Over the weekend, Alex Kendrick's painting has replenished its piggy bank by another $ 7.4 million . Thus, the film about family and faith grossed $ 39.2 million in three rental weeks. An excellent result, considering that only $ 3 million was spent on the shooting of the project. "War Room" is far from entertaining, it raises acute social issues, but American viewers, tired of the abundance of blockbusters, are ready to go to cinemas and get a portion of moralizing.
