Director David M. Rosenthal , whose last film, The Perfect Guy, managed to pleasantly surprise critics, has found a new project for himself. According to The Hollywood Reporter , it will be an action movie with thriller elements called How It Ends .The script for the film, written by Brooks McLaren, managed to be on the Black List of the best unrealized Hollywood ideas.According to the plot, a strange incident, heralding the onset of the apocalypse, leads to widespread riots. And the main character is ready to do anything to get home to his pregnant wife, who remained on the other side of the country. The film is being produced by Paul Schiff Productions and Sierra Pictures , who are behind the idea for the project.  Ideal Boyfriend Rosenthal on his debut weekend took the first place in the ranking of the US box office. All in all, the film with Sena Lathan, Michael Ely and Morris Chestnut in the lead roles grossed $ 54.7 million with a budget of $ 12 million .
