Sorokin will introduce Lenin in Sherlock style
The famous USA writer Vladimir Sorokin will write a script for a film about the leader of the world proletariat Vladimir Lenin , reports MIA "USA Today" . This became known at the defense of projects of independent film companies, which are applying for state funding, which took place in Moscow. The tape will be aimed at a young audience, and the source of inspiration for its creators was the series "Sherlock" (Sherlock) .The project was presented by the script Sorokin by producer Elena Yatsura ("9th company"). She presented the picture as a large-scale historical drama and announced that her budget would be 450 million rubles. The creators of the project expect to receive 60 million from the Cinema Fund. At the same time, Elena noted that the first version of the script is already ready, but as the film is produced, Sorokin will finalize the text. The release of the picture in USA cinemas is scheduled for the fall of 2017, to the anniversary of the October Revolution. Who will play the main role has not yet been announced.  Previously, scripts by Vladimir Sorokin were used for such films as "Kopeyka" (co-authored with Ivan Dykhovichny), "Moscow" (with Alexander Zeldovich) and "Target".
