Nolan continues to recruit old acquaintances
Following Tom Hardy, another permanent collaborator has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan's new film. According to The Wrap , Cillian Murphy was cast in the war drama Dunkirk .Official representatives of the studio Warner Bros. are in no hurry to confirm this information, but insiders claim that the participation of Murphy in the project can already be considered a fait accompli. For the star of Peaky Blinders , Dunkirk will be the fifth collaboration with Nolan . Previously, the actor starred with the eminent director in the film "Inception" and the trilogy "The Dark Knight. The production team for " Dunkirk " will start work next month in France. The action of the film will unfold in 1940, when, after the Battle of Dunkir, the Allied troops were pushed to the sea. The British Admiralty as soon as possible developed a rescue operation, which made it possible to evacuate about 330 thousand soldiers from the port city.  Hardy and Murphy will be accompanied on screen by Academy Award winner Mark Rylance, five-time Academy Award nominee Kenneth Brana and young artists Fien Whitehead, Harry Styles, Jack Louden and Anairin Barnard. The latter two have recently shone with their acting skills in the mini-series "War and Peace" ( War and Peace ), where they played the roles of Nikolai Rostov and Boris Drubetsky respectively.   This year, Cillian Murphy will delight fans of his talent with roles in the crime drama Crossfire, the military thriller Anthropoid and the third season of Peaky Blinders .
