The Boyhood director will be looking for the perfect match
As it became known to the portal Collider , Richard Linklater , the director of the critically acclaimed Boyhood, has found a new film for himself. Sony Pictures is considering Linklater as the main contender for the director's chair for the Project Rosie .We recently reported that Jennifer Lawrence got the lead role in the film. The script for the film belongs to Scott Neistadter and Michael H. Weber. A duo of Phil Lord and Chris Miller planned to lead the filming of the film, but at the last moment the directors opted for a Star Wars spin-off about Han Solo . Based on the novel by Graham Simsion, the drama follows theprofessor of genetics, who, using a special program, is trying to find his soul mate. However, the life of the protagonist is turned upside down with the appearance of Rosie ( Lawrence ) - a girl who does not meet any criteria of his ideal.  Project Rosie is a priority for Sony and, according to insiders, studio bosses have high hopes for Linklater and Lawrence . However, for now, the filmmaker is only considering an offer to lead work on the film. His final decision will become known later.
