Jake Gyllenhaal prepares for the Boston Marathon
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks with Lionsgate to star in Stronger , a drama that tells about the tragedy that happened during the Boston Marathon.The future picture is based on the memoirs of Jeff Bauman, who was at the finish line during the explosion. As a result of the terrorist attack, Jeff lost both legs and subsequently became one of the key witnesses at the hearing in the case of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev . The script for the film was written by John Pollono, and David Gordon Green ("Manglehorn") claims the director's chair. David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Scott Silver are co-producing the project.  If the negotiations are successfully completed, Gyllenhaal will add another emotional drama to his track record, which the actor has prioritized in recent years. Now Jake 's excellent performance can be appreciated in Antoine Fuqua's Lefty, and in the fall the Everest movie will be released, where Gyllenhaal will appear as a climber who went to conquer the highest peak Earth.
