Eddie Redmayne will comment on prehistoric football
Oscar-winning British actor Eddie Redmayne will voice one of two central characters in The First Man , reports The Hollywood Reporter . In the picture of the studio Aardman Animations , as in previous works of the company, the technology of puppet animation will be used. It will be directed by Nick Park, who has directed Escape from the Chicken Coop and Wallace and Gromit.Written by Mark Burton and John O'Farrell, this adventure story will take viewers back to the time of mammoths and make them empathize with a caveman named Doug ( Redmayne ), who, together with his faithful assistant Hognobom has to lead his kinsmen to the battle with a hostile tribe. The conflict should be resolved not with spears and clubs, but in a game reminiscent of modern football ... “ Eddie isn't just fun to work with - his versatility and endless energy helped me finish the character and bring him to life. Now our Doug is a brave, impudent and charming hero. It doesn't matter who gets to voice his bosom friend, thanks to Eddie they will find a common language, ”the director of the production said about the casting.  A new film featuring Redmayne is slated for release in the first quarter of 2018, with the actor appearing in the Harry Potter spin-off this November.
