Chicken Run To Get A Sequel
Great news for the huge army of plasticine animation fans was brought by The Hollywood Reporter. British studio Aardman Animations has decided to shoot a sequel to its famous animated comedy "Chicken Coop".At one time, the cartoon by Peter Lord and Nick Park became the first full-length work of the Bristol studio. The film earned rave reviews in the press, received a nomination for the Golden Globe and earned more than $ 224 million at the box office with a budget of $ 45 million. Since then, no animation project, made in the style of puppet animation, has managed to surpass this result in the world boxing -office. The main characters of the 2000 hit were poultry, who decided to make a daring escape from a chicken farm, built in the likeness of a Nazi concentration camp. It is only known that the authors of the first part - Carey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell will be involved in the work on the script for "Escape from the chicken coop 2". Oscar-nominated Sam Fell, who has already collaborated with Aardman Animations on the animated film Flushed Away, will take the director's chair for the cartoon.
