55 years of hot Spaniard Antonio Banderas
One of the hottest Hollywood actors, Jose Antonio Dominguez Banderas , better known as Antonio Banderas, was born 55 years ago, on August 10, 1960, into a simple family of a school teacher and an officer.As a child, Antonio did not even think about an acting career, he liked to play football more. But, apparently, fate had completely different plans for the boy. First, he broke his leg, and then got to the performance of the local theater, to the play " Hair ". What he saw amazed the young man so much that he entered the School of Dramatic Art in his hometown, Malaga.  Apparently, the fate of the young Spaniard, who was arrested more than once for violating the dictatorial regime of General Franco. And it was fate that once sent the then not so well-known director Pedro Almodovar to the Madrid theater, where Banderas played. The director discerned an undeniable talent in the young man and filmed him in a cameo role in the film Labyrinth of Passions. I must say, Almodovar did not hesitate to exploit the sensuality that Antonio gushed with. Together with him, Pedro has shot several films that raise the issue of human sexuality. Against the general background, the "Law of Desire" stands out, where the actor played the role of a homosexual killing his rival, and "Matador", where he played a man raping his neighbor, and then, out of guilt, taking responsibility for the murders committed by his mentor-maniac ...  All these projects brought Almodovar fame, and Banderas - the close attention of Hollywood. The first major role outside Spain was once again the role of the lover - this time the hero of Tom Hanks in the film "Philadelphia". It is worth noting that, despite the controversial roles, the Spanish actor surprisingly managed to maintain his macho image. And the next serious work, after which Banderas settled on the Hollywood Olympus, was the mysterious Armand in the film "Interview with the Vampire", where his partners were Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. The burning brunette instantly won the hearts of the audience. But, of course, it wasn't just his appearance. Antonio turned out to be a great actor, with the same ease he knew how to be funny, without losing his masculinity, creepy and frightening, keeping the feline softness and charm. The actor's palette of Banderas is quite wide, so he was gladly accepted into his team by a director like Robert Rodriguez. Antonio starred in his films Four Rooms, Desperate and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and then in the Spy Kids trilogy. He also starred in Evita with Madonna and in another remake about one of the first masked heroes - Zorro . By sharing the screen with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Anthony Hopkins, Banderas breathed new life into this iconic character.  In 2011, the actor unexpectedly resumed his collaboration with Almodovar . The result was the acclaimed film The Skin I Live In. The role of the plastic surgeon, who decided to avenge his daughter's death in a very original way, turned out to be strong and, as always with Almodovar , provocative.  Banderas is a frequent visitor to cartoon dubbing studios. Fans of animation projects know his voice primarily from the series of cartoons about the green monster Shrek . The Puss in Boots voiced by him almost overtook the main character in popularity and subsequently received two solo albums. Not so long ago, in 2014, Banderas invited Sylvester Stalone to the movie "The Expendables 3". And although the role of Antonio there was quite small, he was able to attract the attention of the audience, creating an outstanding ironic image. So Antonio Banderas is 55, and he doesn't seem to care about age at all. He is still good-looking and cheerful, he has many job offers and his own star on the "Walk of Fame" in Hollywood.
