Tom Hanks voted America's Favorite Actor
Winner of two " Oscars " awards, winner of a personalized star on the Walk of Fame and one of the most benevolent Hollywood celestials Tom Hanks has added the title of America's most favorite actor to the list of his achievements and titles.The authoritative center for public opinion research Harris Interactive has been conducting an annual survey to determine the favorites of American viewers since 1994. This year's research showed that the tastes of moviegoers from different generations are very different. Johnny Depp, Jennifer Lawrence and Adam Sandler are among the top three youth leaders, while retired people chose John Wayne, Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks . For Hanks , the victory in the Harris Interactive study was his fifth in his career. It is curious that during the entire existence of the survey, he only twice did not fall into the top ten most favorite.  The second place was taken by Johnny Depp . Despite the fact that two films with his participation in the past year failed at the box office, the actor continues to maintain the title of the main Hollywood heartthrob: Depp has become the most popular actor among the fair sex.  On the third step of the podium is Denzel Washington, whose contribution to cinema was recently awarded the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award.
