Fellini's ”La Dolce Vita” will receive a remake
As reported by Deadline , another piece of classic cinema will receive a remake. The AMBI Group , headed by Andrea Hiervolino and Monica Bacardi, has acquired the rights to create a new version of " La Dolce Vita ", a painting by the great Federico Fellini . Together with Daniel Di Lorenzo Iervolino and Bacardi will be producing the project.The original won in 1960 Palme d'Or Cannes Film Festival and is rightfully ranked among the best films of all time. The main roles in the tape telling the story of the journalist Marcello Rubini and the women he conquered were played by Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg.  Permission to shoot the remake was given by the great master's only heiress, his niece Francesca Fellini .“We've been contacted a myriad of times with suggestions for remakes, reboots, sequels and prequels. But our family was waiting for the right moment,- noted Francesca in her statement. - Daniel , Andrea and Monica have an amazing vision of modern cinema, and they, as Italians, perfectly understand the value of my work uncle ".
