Conan Doyle and Houdini to help Scotland Yard
As reported by TVLine , Fox has begun work on the Houdini and Doyle TV series starring Harry Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle. In the story, the great illusionist and literary father of Sherlock Holmes will have to join forces to help Scotland Yard investigate unexplained supernatural crimes.The series will be chaired by the creator of House MD ( House MD ) David Shore . The producer will be David N. Titcher and David Hoselton, with Stephen Hopkins (The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, Californication ) as director. Michael Weston (" House MD " / House MD , "Elementary" / Elementary ) will embody the image of Harry Houdini , who was considered an ardent opponent of theories about other worlds. Stephen Mangan ("Episodes" / Episodes ) got the role of Arthur Conan Doyle , who was known for his interest in the paranormal.  The cast is also joined by Rebecca Liddiard , who will play the first female constable in the London Police Force - Adelaide Stratton .
