The weekend brought distributors 890.6 million rubles, and three quarters of this amount fell on family films - Aladdin, The Secret Life of Pets 2 and Detective Pikachu.The top five for the weekend (May 23-26) is as follows: 1. So the forecasts of analysts, who say that the second part will be weaker than the first, are already coming true. 3. “Pokemon. Detective Pikachu "  Week at the box office: 2 Added: 96.4 million rubles. Total fees: 410.8 million rubles. Sank / Rise: -2 (-61.9%) Due to the fact that "Detective Pikachu" appeared competitors aimed at a family audience, he lost more than 60% of viewers. Undoubtedly, 410.8 million rubles. - the amount is quite decent, but the film by Rob Letterman did not live up to expectations. 4. "John Wick 3"  Week at the box office: 2 Added: 83.8 million rubles. Total fees: 399.5 million rubles. Sag / Rise: -2 (-66.3%) "John Wick 3" sank even more "Detective Pikachu", but his position looks much more advantageous. Trikvel performed more successfully than the previous two parts, and the final result of "John Wick 2" (357.7 million rubles) was surpassed just last weekend. 5. "Burn, burn clearly"  Week at the box office: 1 Added: 49.4 million rubles. Total fees: 49.4 million rubles. Sank / Rise: - (-) The horror film by David Yaroveski failed to interest the mass audience, which was also observed in the North American box office. The horror started at the same level as "Dark Reflections" (48.5 million rubles), which clearly cannot be attributed to the excellent box office students, but significantly lost to such brothers in the genre as "We" (91.7 million rubles) and Overlord (RUB 65.9 million).
