Wes Anderson is not filming a musical

Image We recently wrote that Wes Anderson's next film will be a musical set in France in the 1950s. However, as reported by ThePlaylst, the tape will not be musical at all, and its events will unfold in different time periods. The plot will focus on a group of Colorado writers.

Initially, foreign publications assumed that Anderson's next film would become a musical, based on the fact that Mark Mathersbough would write the songs for him. In an interview, producer Jeremy Dawson, who has worked with the director since the days of Train to Darjeeling, denied this information. He also said that the crew wants to keep the details of the plot under wraps as long as possible.

Recall that Tilda Swinton and Mathieu Amalric are officially involved in the film. Rumor has it that Brad Pitt, Natalie Portman and Lea Seydoux may join them. The filming of the tape is now taking place in France.
