Paramount is into Hasbro toys
With nearly every popular Hasbro line of toys hitting or gearing up for it, the news that Paramount is planning another movie for its Hasbro cinematic universe is no surprise. Not so long ago we reported that the work on the film about the space cyborg Roma has intensified, and now the MASK line will also acquire its own project.As the portal Deadline found out, the Paramount management invited the director of the eighth "Fast and the Furious" and "Voices of the Streets" F. Gary Gray to lead the filming of the film about the elite MASK unit, led by multimillionaire and philanthropist Matt Trekker and fighting against the criminal organization VENOM. The MASK line was developed by Kenner in the mid 80's. To increase the popularity of toys, an animated series was also launched in parallel, which lasted for two seasons. The media franchise also includes video games and comics from DC and IDW.  F. Gary Gray will act not only as a director, but also as a producer of the new project.
