The past weekend of Thanksgiving (November 23-25) updated the record for the amount of fees, but not everyone was successful. For example, "Robin Hood: The Beginning" failed miserably, missing even the top 5, and was also inundated with devastating reviews from critics.But the cartoon "Ralph Against the Internet" was much more fortunate. For five days spent at the box office, he grossed $ 84.5 million. Among all the cartoons released on Thanksgiving Day, the sequel is the second most effective, second only to "Frozen" ($ 93.6 million). Now, thanks to the second "Ralph", the top 3 of this list are made entirely of Disney studio projects. The leadership of the animated film by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston is quite predictable, especially since the reviewers praise the second part, and viewers who gave it an A- rating agree with them. The first combined nostalgic references to pop culture and emotional history, and the creators of the sequel had to try to match their predecessor. As a result, they got a cartoon that reflects the obsession of modern society with the Internet and social networks. And if the moral of the second film is clearly intended for viewers of a young age, then the funny characters will not leave indifferent even adults.  The beauty of the film "Ralph Against the Internet" lies in the fact that Disney princesses perfectly fit into its storyline, the photos with which flew around social networks even before the premiere. One of the heroines of the film was voiced by Wonder Woman herself, and all this further inflamed the audience's interest in the sequel. At the same time, the second part found its fans outside the United States, where its piggy bank was replenished by $ 41.5 million.  Despite the fact that Creed 2 was not too fiercely opposed to the hegemony of Ralph and his girlfriend Vanillope von Keks, the sports drama also won. In five days at the box office, she earned $ 55.8 million, which allowed her to become the record holder in her weight category. Thing is, the sequel featured the best feature film debut on Thanksgiving Day. Previously, this honorary title belonged to the comedy "Four Christmases" ($ 46 million). At the same time, Creed 2 surpassed the previous installment by $ 14 million, which is good news for Warner Bros. studio, because critics believe that the sequel falls short of the heights of Rocky's Legacy. The viewers are of the opposite opinion: in their opinion, both pictures are good. "Creed 2" has earned an A rating from cinema goers - the same as in the first part. She, by the way, completed the rental at around $ 109.8 million. This height will certainly obey the sequel, especially since the director Stephen Capel Jr. it turned out to be a solid sports drama, albeit not without flaws in the form of hackneyed cliches of the genre and sometimes not entirely clear script decisions.  In third place is the "Grinch", which added $ 30.2 million to its asset. The grunt, who decided to steal Christmas, made a good profit on the holidays and lost only 22% of viewers, despite the fact that Ralph pulled the blanket over himself this weekend. In general, the cartoon grossed $ 180.4 million in the United States and has already surpassed The Boss Baby Sucker ($ 175 million), and by next weekend, The Croods will be behind ($ 187.2 million).  But the second "Fantastic Beasts" were clearly not among the favorites of the audience, who decided to spend the holidays in the cinema. Fantasy has lost more than half of the audience and earned only $ 29.7 million. While the home box office of the sequel is $ 117.1 million, and falls short of the film's production budget ($ 200 million). However, Warner Bros. she never hid that she was betting on overseas spectators. They, as expected, favor Newt Salamander and gave $ 322.6 million for viewing the picture. Bohemian Rhapsody, which has lost only 13% of viewers, is not slowing down. The musical drama has grown by $ 13.9 million over the weekend, and now its gross amount is three times the budget - $ 152 million versus $ 52 million.
