At the time, "Assassin's Creed" did not impress either critics or viewers, and since then director Justin Kurzel has not started filming any other project. Since last autumn, the filmmaker has been working on the thriller Ruins, in which Gal Gadot was supposed to play the main role. Apparently, her employment in the DC cinematic universe did not allow the actress to work on the project, and now the creators of the picture have found a replacement for her.According to the Variety portal, the main role in the tape will be played by Margot Robbie, and her on-screen partner will be Matthias Schonarts. Kurzel will have to realize the script of Ryan and Matt Firpo, who are just starting their way in big cinema. Filming will begin in spring in Prague. The thriller will take place in Germany after the end of World War II. Robbie will play a woman who survived the Holocaust and took the path of revenge. She will be supported in this matter by a former SS man (Shonarts), who intends to hunt down all the members of his punitive squad in order to atone for his own guilt.  Robbie is currently filming a new film by Quentin Tarantino and will soon appear in the historical drama "Mary Queen of Scots", where the Oscar nominee has changed almost beyond recognition for the role of Queen Elizabeth I. As for Matthias Schonarts, the Venice Film Festival just the premiere of the thriller Loyal Enemies with his participation, and the audience will see the drama Kursk at the parallel review in Toronto.
