Deadpool will bring deleted scenes to Comic-Con

Image Although Deadpool 2 came out back in May, 20th Century Fox hints that they have a couple more tricks up their sleeve for fans of the chatty mercenary. The daring anti-hero will receive his panel at Comic-Con and will host a special screening of the tape for convention attendees. According to the portal Deadline, Fox promises some surprises, which are likely to be deleted scenes from the sequel.

According to the Sunday Express, two important scenes were cut from the final cut of the film. Director David Leitch talked about why they were removed and confirmed that they can be added to the enhanced version.

Speaking to Collider, Litch explained:Offhand, I would say roughly 20 minutes of timing was cut from the movie. We do mount the extended version, but we do it slowly. Many alternative versions of the same scenes have survived from the filming, with which we would like to work. In addition, we have a couple of unreleased scenes that would be great to return to the timing of the tape ”. However, not everyone agrees that Deadpool strangling a baby is fun.

In one of the deleted scenes, which was supposed to take place after the credits, the main character travels in time and accidentally encounters the newborn Hitler. Deadpool's decision to rewrite history is understandable, but the way he does it angered viewers and forced them to leave the test run. Another deleted scene shows the antihero's reaction to the death of his girlfriend Vanessa. The final episode, with countless suicide attempts, was deemed too dark, but the director is determined to bring it back to an extended version.

Whatever the cut scenes of "Deadpool 2", fans of the most reckless character in Marvel can only wait for a special screening and hope for a possible announcement of the third "Deadpool". As a reminder, Comic-Con will take place from July 19th to 21st.
