Image Two-time Oscar winner Jodie Foster will take on and star in the remake of the ecotriller Woman in War, according to Collider.

The original film was directed by Icelandic director Benedikt Erlingsson (On Horses and Men). The film was nominated in Cannes for the "Press Award" and recently became an official nominee for the "Oscar" from Iceland in the nomination "Best Foreign Language Film". Icelandic actress Halldoura Geirhardsdouttir (Angels of the Universe) played the main role in the original. She played a 50-year-old music teacher and environmental activist whose life suddenly changes after the adoption of an orphan girl.

Judy Foster commented on her choice:"" Woman at War " so amazed me, it's just beyond words.
