Only four years have passed since the release of Disney's Cinderella, which became a box office hit, but Sony studio is not worried about this fact, and it is ready to present the audience with another version of the story about a poor girl and a rich prince on a white horse. The major has even found a leading actress: Cinderella will be played by Cuban-American singer Camila Cabeio, for whom the film will also make her film debut.The details of the project have not yet been disclosed, but it is already clear that the music in the film will play an important role. Moreover, Cabeio will take an active part in creating the soundtrack for the new "Cinderella". And although the tape is positioned as a modern rethinking of the classic fairy tale, the main elements of the latter - a poor girl suffering from the wiles of her stepmother, unearthly love with a representative of the aristocracy - will surely migrate to the Sony version. Kay Cannon, the screenwriter of all three parts of Pitch Perfect and the director of the highly successful comedy No Sex !!!, will head the project. The idea to reshoot "Cinderella" belongs to actor and TV presenter James Corden.  There is no information about the start date of filming, but insiders say that Sony has put the tape in the priority list, which means that in the foreseeable future, viewers will find out what Cinderella will turn out to be from Cabeio.
