Competitors are also trying to keep up with the House of Mouse - Sony decided to shoot a new version of the Cinderella story, despite the fact that Disney released their own Cinderella just four years ago.The details of the film are kept in the strictest confidence, but it is known that Sony is preparing a musical, and therefore the main role in the film is given to singer Camila Cabeio. Now Cinderella has a prince on a white horse: Nikolas Golitsyn will play him. The British actor's track record is not very long, but in the spring he appeared in the television thriller Heart. Insiders claim that Golitsyn won over the producers at the audition, and after a long search, they chose Nicholas. Also, Idina Menzel and Billy Porter will be involved in the filming of the tape. The latter will try on the image of Cinderella's godfather, and Menzel will play the evil stepmother. The director and screenwriter of the project is Kay Cannon ("There will be no sex !!!").
