Stanley Tucci will help Jessica Biel investigate the conspiracy
Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci has joined Jessica Biel on the set of Limetown, Deadline reported. The show is based on the popular podcast of the same name, which is inspired by The X-Files. The cast also includes Academy Award-winning Marlee Matlin, Emmy-nominated Kelly Jenrett, John Beasley and Luis Ferreira.The creators of the podcast, Zack Akers and Skip Bronki, will write the script for the project. In the center of the plot will be journalist Leah Haddock (Beale), who is investigating the disappearance of three hundred people at a neuroscience research center in Tennessee. The characters of the rest of the actors are still kept secret, but according to rumors, Tucci will play one of the main roles, Uncle Leah. Beal, Akers and Bronki will also take over the production functions. Josh Appelbaum (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Andre Nemec (Mission Impossible: Phantom Protocol), Jeff Pinkner (Beyond the Boundary) and Scott Rosenberg (Venom) are nominated as Showrunners. The ten-episode series will begin filming this week in Vancouver. The show will be produced by Facebook.  On the big screens, Tucci has been seen in Blind Date, Spotlight and the Hunger Games franchise, and our viewers should remember him from the Feud. Matlin won an Oscar for her debut role in Children of Silence, and is currently filming The Magicians. Jenrett was nominated for an Emmy for her portrayal of Annie in The Handmaid's Tale. Beasley has starred in The Price of Fear and The Widower's Love. Luis Ferreira is familiar to our viewers from Stargate Universe's Breaking Bad, and recently signed a contact for the next season of The Man in the High Castle.
