Milo Ventimiglia will have a loyal dog
A lot of tears were shed by viewers watching the series This Is Us, but Milo Ventimiglia seems to like projects like this. The actor, who is at the peak of popularity thanks to the NBC drama, has signed up to take part in the filming of the film, which is sure to cause sentimental feelings among moviegoers.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ventimiglia will star in the film adaptation of Racing on Wet Pavement. Garth Stein's bestseller follows racer Danny Swift and the lessons life has taught him. However, readers will learn the story of the protagonist not from himself, but from his dog Enzo. The latter differs from the rest of the dogs: Enzo is a philosopher with an almost human soul, who has learned a lot from television programs and his owner. The original book was published in 2008. Soon the rights to adapt it were acquired by Universal, with Patrick Dempsey claiming the lead role. As a result, he refused to shoot, but he is still listed as the producer of the project along with Neil H. Moritz ("Fast and the Furious") and Tanya Landau. After the film adaptation, the Mouse House took up, but his attempts were unsuccessful. Now the Fox 2000 company will try their luck by inviting Simon Curtis ("7 Days and Nights with Marilyn") to the director's chair.  Milo Ventimiglia's other future film projects also include the romantic comedy Second Act, where Vanessa Ann Hudgens and Jennifer Lopez became his co-stars on the set.
