Sarah Hyland prepares for the wedding marathon
Together with her fellow comedy series Family of America, Sarah Hyland has won the Screen Actors Guild Awards four times. The role of Hailey Dunphy in the popular sitcom of the ABC channel not only brought the young actress recognition from colleagues and critics, but also helped her grow to the main roles in big cinema. As it became known to the publication Deadline, Hyland will lead the cast of the film "Wedding Year".In the comedy studio Lakeshore Entertainment, Sarah will appear as Mary Hickey, a photographer from Los Angeles who believes that she is not yet ready for family life. When the main character of the story and her boyfriend receive an invitation to attend fifteen weddings in one year, they will have to reconsider their plans for the future. The film was written by a young Hollywood writer, Donald Diego (Community). The director's chair of The Wedding Year will be taken by Australian Robert Luketic, who is well acquainted with the comedy genre by working on such films as Legally Blonde, If Mother-in-Law is a Monster ... and The Naked Truth.  Hyland intends not only to play the main role in the film, but also to join Mark Korshak ("This is a disaster") and Gary Luchesi ("Million Dollar Baby") in the production team. Lakeshore Entertainment will begin searching for comedy distributors at the 71st Cannes Film Festival, which is set to host next week.
