Five years have passed since Sam Raimi presented his latest feature-length directorial work to date, the fantasy Oz: The Great and Terrible. The filmmaker focused on producing and, remarkably, chose the horror genre. Evan Spiliotopoulos (Beauty and the Beast, Snow White and the Huntsman) has been chosen as the director and screenwriter of the new project. The plot of the original book revolves around a disgraced journalist trying to rekindle his career with material about miracles that happened in a small town in New England. However, soon the protagonist learns that the so-called miracles can be tricks of the forces of evil ...
