Dave Batista will travel to Arrakis
Legendary Pictures continues to expand its cast of the new adaptation of Frank Herbert's novel Dune. Now Timothy Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson will join Dave Batista in the filming of Denis Villeneuve's tape, Variety reports. The script for the project is being written by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump) and John Spates (Passengers).The action of "Dune" will unfold in the distant future, and in the center of the plot will be Paul Atreides (Shalame), whose family takes control of the desert planet Arrakis. They are the only producers of a very valuable resource, so rival families dispute their land grab. After the Atreides are betrayed, Paul must restore justice. The tape will be the second project of Villeneuve and Batista after Blade Runner 2049. Last year, Dave appeared in Escape Plan 2 with Sylvester Stallone, as well as Infinity War and Hotel Artemis.
